Formerly from San Francisco and now based on Akron (Ohio), Josh Mace is one of the most interesting artists coming from the latest wave of american electronic producers. With a sound rooted on UK bass music but also paying homage to the american old school, he’s a super talented Dj/producer hailed by people like XLR8R as one of the next big things. He’s been releasing on labels like Car Crash Set, Freshmore, Knightwerk, White Colours or B.YRSLF as well as co-directing Sequel Sound Recordings. Now he delivers his first contribution to Tracy Recordings with “Time In Yuba Ep” an excellent release with two bass heavy two step garage steppers, “Everything’s a Vibe” and “Hell Yea Riddim” alongside a smooth jazzy number, “Autumn Key” and two superb remixes by Joshua Gilliand, “Live My Life” and Brent Still Life, “Everything’s A Vibe”. Top quality!
