Sidechains is one of the freshests and more interesting projects coming from the Barcelona club scene in a long time, being on top of the young generation of artists that are rejenerating that panorama that hended young flash desperately. Alter making music for advertisements Alex Ferrer decided to Start his own solo Project, hat’s surely gonna be big. His influences range from Daft punk, Stuart Pierce (Les Rythmes Digitales), Soulwax, Chromeo to 90’s French house.The track Monster House was out on the compilation Droppin Bombs Vol 2 in EMI’s sub label Pistol Digital. He’s also part of the celebrated Project The Requesters alongide D.A.R.Y.L.. On Tracy, Through the compilation “Music For Biches” he hit he spot with “Dance While You Can” y “Real” two 24 karat jewels that fuse french touch and electro and specially with the amazing “Back 2 Skool EP” that contains “Can’t Love You Babe” and “Back 2 Skool”, two killer tracks that always manage to destroy all the dancefloors, complemented by two great remixes from Dj Donna Summer and Disco Villains.

Sidechains es uno de los proyectos más frescos e interesantes que haya surgido de la escena de clubs de Barcelona en mucho tiempo, siituándose a la cabeza de ese grupo de jóvenes productores que están regenerando un panorama demasiado estancado. Después de componer música para campañas de publicidad Alex Ferrer decidío empezar con este proyecto personal que va a dar mucho que hablar. En Tracy, a través del recopilatorio “Music For Biches” se despachó a gusto con “Dance While You Can” y “Real” dos gemas de 24 kilates que unen french touch y electro consiguiendo devastar cualquier pista de baile que se precie. Pero fue con su “Back 2 Skool Ep” cuando lanzó la bomba definitiva en forma de dos hitazos, “Can’t Love You Babe” y el homonimo “Back 2 Skool”, en onda 90’s house que arrasan por doquier, completados por dos excelentes remixes a cargo de Dj Donna Summer y Disco Villains.
